Applications For Recycled Aggregates
We offer Colorado customers a variety of grades and types of recycled concrete and asphalt materials tailored to meet your project's needs and specs at Colorado Aggregate Recycling. Recycled aggregates offer superior compaction, better yield, higher "R" values, and greater durability over virgin (quarry or pit) aggregate bases. The use of recycled aggregates are also typically authorized by State Transportation Departments for use in roadbeds and drainage projects, including Colorado Aggregate Recycling's CL6 road base, which is crushed right at our recycling yard in Golden, Colorado and conveniently located near Denver and Boulder. CAR's recycled aggregates are also an excellent choice in landscaping, block filling, retaining walls, and a variety of other construction applications.

The safety hazards and risks present at an aggregate crushing and recycling worksite are continuously changing and evolving. Keeping everyone safe requires a commitment to not only react to those changing conditions, but to proactively identify potential risks and actively work to eliminate or control them. This is best accomplished by creating a culture of safety in which all team members are committed to ensuring the safest workplace possible.
With decades of experience, our Safety Coordinator oversees the implementation of the company's safety program in order to integrate safety into the day-to-day activities of all team members. He looks to identify unsafe conditions and practices and determine remedies. The Safety Coordinator conducts job-site audits, inspections, safety meetings, and new employee orientations. He ensures the organization is compliant with OSHA and EPA regulations.
